Obituary

Salem, OR - Peggy A. Stamm, 68, passed away peacefully with family at her side January 12, 2021.  Peggy was born in Cheney, WA.  She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore A. Zerba, mother Lydia Anne U. Pielaet (Pickle), and her brother, Theodore O. Zerba.

Peggy Graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School.  She moved to Spokane, WA and had a beautiful daughter, Charity.  She moved to California from Spokane where she had a career in banking.  She divorced and later found her soulmate, Neill Ness (since passed).  She loved her family with all her heart and soul.  She had a great sense of humor, a contagious smile and a special way of being present with whoever was with her.  She enjoyed her flower gardening, creating artworks for many to enjoy and was a good friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Charity A. Knight, her brother, Alan O. Zerba, half sister, Carrie L. Pielaet, granddaughter Elke A Khieu (Channara Khiee), great grandchild Niko Khieu, her very dear friend Mary Ness, and many more friends and neighbors that will miss her dearly.

Our beloved mother will be cremated and placed in memoriam.  Any donations in her memory should be addressed to Simonsshope.org, the American Cancer Society to to your local Red Cross.
