Obituary

Mary was raised in Corbett Oregon.  She worked in food service until she retired. She loved her dogs, crocheting, knitting, reading, Disney movies and her friends. She had a kind heart for her family and was a loving soul to her nieces and nephews. She was a quiet lady but had a very quick, funny sense of humor and a great laugh that just made you giggle with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Hannah Dooley.  Sisters: Sharon Rickert and Violet McLaughlin.  Brothers: Jim Dooley and Steven Dooley. Nephews: Kenny McLaughlin and Randy McLaughlin.

Mary never married, but chose to live with her mother and brother until their deaths.  She is survived by a loving family of sisters,  Rose Tracy, Linda Farless and brother-in-Law, Jim Farless and Shirley Carpenter and Brother-in-law Larry Carpenter and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She always carried this Irish Blessing in her purse:

"May God grant you always...

A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you,

a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you.

Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you.

And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you."

Messages of Sympathy

  1. Richelle Criner says:

Mary brought lots of joy to all who knew her of all the people that I've taken care of she shined the most.

  2. Lynn Burck says:

Aunt Mary was a very kind person and she did have a great sense of humor. She had a plaque that read, “It’s too late to agree with me, I’ve already changed my mind!”
