Mark Lund Jorgenson

Mark was born in Vancouver, Washington on July 13, 1952.  Mark was the second child of four children born to Robert F. and Minnie L. (Fessler) Jorgenson of Portland, Oregon. 

The family moved from Portland to Salem in 1959 and later to Keizer in 1962.  After moving to the Salem area, Mark attended schools at St. Joseph’s, St. Vincent’s, Whitaker Junior High, Mount Angel Seminary, Serra Catholic High the year it closed and graduated McNary High School class of 1970.

Mark worked in various sales, service, government and business occupations.  While he and Chris were living in the Woodburn Senior Estates, Mark enjoyed volunteering and working at the Pro Shop along with new found friends and members bringing the operations to success.

Mark is survived by his wife of twenty-four years Christine Ann Doran Jorgenson of Woodburn Estates, his sisters Sandra Field of Canby, Marcia Lemire of Sisters, and his Brother Karl Jorgenson of West Salem.  Mark and Chris enjoyed their close-by family including brothers in law Gary Field, Joseph Lemire and a sister-in-law Mary Anne Jorgenson plus two generations of many nieces and nephews.

Mark will be always remembered and greatly missed.
