John Kevin Fortune passed away May 18, 2023 in Salem, Oregon from heart failure. He was born on March 7, 1954 in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia to Marie and Roland Fortune, who both preceded him in death. He is also predeceased by his only son, Zackery Fortune, and his two brothers, James Fortune and Brian Fortune. He is survived by his brother, David (Betty)Fortune of Lakeland, Florida. He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew, Daniel Fortune, Jamie Owens, Valerie Fortune and Janet Fortune.
He was an ironworker in his younger years. He also enjoyed using his culinary skills after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Waldport, Oregon.
He will be missed by his friends and family.
Give ‘em hell up there . I know u are with Zak and I hope you both are at peace at last. Fly High , my precious uncle.
