There are no words to express the shock and sorrow of John's passing away. He touched so many lives, and those of us who knew him during school days were fortunate to watch him grow into a leader. My heart goes out to Jonna and everyone else in the family during this time of great loss. May your countless loving memories console you. God bless each of you.
John touched so many over his many years. I knew him and Jonna best from our youthful years growing up in Brookings. When we loose a fellow classmate it hurts deeply and chisels at our hearts. To the Week's family, please lean on God for comfort and meaning.
I fondly remember him at Bandon High School in the 70s. He was the cool young teacher among some beloved veterans. He was an excellent role model and a great listener. We were a confused tight knit group of teenagers and he was a life line in helping us navigate the confusing world. Prayers to the family.
