Brendan Allen Tingue, 18, of Keizer, Oregon, formerly of Albany, Oregon, died April 26, 2018.
Brendan was born on March 11, 2000 in Albany, Oregon to Julie Scott and Allen Tingue. He was 18 years old. He was a senior at McNary High School in Keizer, Oregon.
Brendan was a kind person, who enjoyed making others laugh. He had many interests; playing video games, listening to music, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends. He disliked tuna fish sandwiches and being told to get a haircut. It is impossible to sum up a young man so caring, genuine, spirited, hilarious, and stubborn. These qualities were obvious to everyone around him and he will be truly missed.
Brendan’s true passion in life was music. He was inspired by many bands like The Beatles, Green Day, Modest Mouse, The Foo Fighters, David Bowie, and many others. He was a talented musician. His interest in music started at a young age with the guitar. He was self-taught, picking up pointers from family and friends. Eventually he began writing his own music and performing on stage.
Brendan is survived by his mother Julie Scott and Jeff Rach, father Allen Tingue, and brother Nathan Tingue; grandmother Brenda Dunigan, grandfather Bob Scott and his wife Joanne; grandmother Rena Spinks; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Ron Dunigan, great grandmother Audrey Branch, and great grandfather Ted Branch.
