Vivian Ann Triska

Vivian Ann Triska, 98, of Salem, Oregon, passed away on March 2, 2018 in Salem, Oregon. Vivian was born in Chicago, Illinois to Otto and Bessie(Stanek) Linhart on October 4,1919.

Vivian married Frank H. Triska on October 12, 1941 , in Berwyn, Illinois. She worked at Wieboldt’s Department Store as a manager for more than 30 years. She and her family, lived in Hillside, Illinois for 31 years. Vivian resided in Oswego, Illinois for 26 years where where she was a devout member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. She spent the last year and a half in Salem, Oregon where her daughter, Charlene Mayer resides.

Vivian is preceded in her death by her parents, Bessie ( Stanek) Linhart, Otto Linhart, and her spouse, Frank H. Triska.

She is survived by her children, son, Kenneth Triska (spouse, Rosemary), daughter Charlene Mayer( spouse, Lee) and 5 grandchildren, Burke Mayer (spouse, Catherine), Drew Mayer( spouse, Brian), Lindsay Collins (spouse, Michael). Ryan Triska, Christopher Triska.

A memorial service will be scheduled in Oswego, Illinois at a date and time that is yet to be determined.

The family of Vivian Triska wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Gail Bouras whose care , support and love for Vivian as a dear friend, gave her strength and comfort for the past 20 years.
