Timothy Roy Olson

Timothy Roy Olson, 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 6th, 2023, at his home in Salem, OR. He was born February 19 ^th , 1960, in Shawnee Mission, KS, to Doreen Armstrong and Hubert Olson.

Tim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Karen; his two children and their spouses, Rachel (Jane) and Ryan (Cady); his niece, Maddie; and his dog, Cookie.

Tim graduated from Raytown High School, Raytown MO in 1978 and went on to have a successful career as a tool and die maker. He was known for his hard work, dedication, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

In his free time, Tim enjoyed traveling with his wife, golfing with friends and family, and having a good time with those he loved and cared for. Tim’s other great passion in life was music. He loved going to concerts and learning to play the guitar.

Tim will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love and support. He touched many people’s lives, and his legacy will live on through the memories and stories shared by those who knew him.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Columbia Helicopter team, Willamette Vital Health, and all his friends and family for their care and support during this difficult time.

Tim's memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held for Tim in Kansas City, MO, in the coming months, and details will soon follow.
