Steven Karl Ramiskey

Steven Karl Ramiskey, aka “Foos”, was born August 6 th , 1951 in Seattle, Washington. He passed away February 5 th , 2017 in Keizer, Oregon. Steve was a loving husband, father, and friend to many. He is survived by his partner of 21 years, Susan Schlip, his children Jamison Ramiskey, Christopher Ramiskey, Kristi Schlip, Robert Schlip, Meghan Ramiskey, David Schlip, Jake Ramiskey, and Justin Helgerson, his seven grandchildren and countless other family and friends. Steve was very much a family man, and he was the happiest amongst those he loved.

Steve lived in the Nestucca Valley community the past 26 years. Prior to that he lived most of his life in the Portland area. Steve lived a very unique and awesome life, ranging from working on tugboats to being a professional foosball player in the 1970's. He was quite the athlete and an avid consumer of all sports, whether playing, coaching, or observing. Steve defied odds and hardships as a child to become an amazing man of high character. He will be sorely missed.
