Shawn Lee Baker

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Shawn Baker, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend. At 42 years old, Shawn's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those around him.

 Shawn's playful nature and love of pranks brought endless smiles to everyone around him. His warmth and humor-filled every room he entered, whether he was cracking jokes, cheering on his cherished Pittsburgh Steelers, or making a fashion statement in his favorite name-brand shoes. You could often find him with a two-liter in one hand and a bag of sunflower seeds in the other, ready to share a laugh with anyone nearby.

 Fiercely devoted to his family, Shawn always did his best to support and protect those he loved. He carried his parents close to his heart—adoring his father, Jeremy Jenniches, and treasuring memories of his late mother, Donna Baker. 

 Though Shawn faced struggles with addiction, he continually endeavored to be better. We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, free from the burdens that weighed on him. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, resilience, and heartfelt devotion.

 His father, Jeremy Jenniches, survives Shawn; his sisters, Brandy Green and Janay Johnson; his brother, Kyle Jenniches; his cherished children; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. His mother, Donna Baker, predeceased him.

 Family and friends are invited to honor Shawn's memory at a Celebration of Life on February 8, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. A viewing and visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. before the service. We welcome all who knew and loved Shawn to join us as we remember his spirit, share our stories, and celebrate the life he lived.
