Shameka Lajuan Jordan

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Shameka LaJuan Jordon.

Born April 27th, 1979 in Pomona California. Leaving us far too soon on March 7, 2025 in Corvallis, Oregon. Shameka was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her. A devoted mother, meemah, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She filled our lives with love, kindness, and with her unforgettable smile.

She was the proud mother of Aceia, Ajane, and Aniyah, who were at the center of her world, and a loving bonus mom to Teeaundra. She was also a cherished meemah to her eight beautiful grandchildren; Anthony, Sean Jr, NeyMeir, King, Kira, Vyken, Charlyee, and Ceianna. Each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her love for them was boundless, and the memories, they created together will last forever.

Shameka touched so many lives with her warmth and generosity. She always was there to uplift, support, and bring joy. Whether sharing laughter with family, reminiscing with friends, or letting the music she loved fill the room, she made every moment special.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. We will forever cherish the love she gave and the beautiful memories she left behind.

You will always be loved, always remembered

Shameka will be deeply mourned by her daughters: Aceia, Ajane, and Aniyah, and her stepdaughter, Teeaundra. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Anthony, Sean Jr., NeyMeir, King, Kira, Vyken, Charlyee, and Ceianna. She is survived by her sisters, Farrah and Lori; her nieces and nephews: De’Quan, Ty’Renee, ShaiLynn, Yasmin, Nicole, Kimberly, Edward, and Jayon; as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Shameka will be joining her eternal home with her mother, Vicki Payne; his father, Charles Jordon; her grandmother, Yvonne; and her cousin, Little Chris.

Meeka was a woman rooted inn family and love. She will be missed not only by her relatives, but also by those who called her sis, aunty, mama, and friend.
