In Loving Memory of Robert Joseph Rees Jr

8/21/1945 - 2/12/2025

It is with heavy hearts and love that we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Rees Jr, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Bob left this world, but his spirit, kindness, and love will continue to shine in the lives he touched.

Born on August 21, 1945 in Cleveland Ohio, oldest of 7 children. He loved God, his family, and friends. From an early age, he loved sports, working hard and helping people. The kindness of his soul inspired us to do better.

Bob was known for making memories. Trips to the beach, baseball games, Disneyland and Immaculate Heart College. He was an avid reader, and loved to walk when his feet didn’t hurt. He inspired us to laugh and not be hurtful. Above all, he taught us to see beauty in the simple moments, and the love of playing games.

Family meant everything to Bob. He loved his ex-wife Joyce, and sons Joseph and Matthew. Though we mourn his passing, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life that enriched ours also. Bob is survived by Joyce, Joseph, Matthew, Barbara, Dianne & Jerry, Dan & Theresa, Mike, Jackie, along with countless family and friends who loved him dearly. He will be united in spirit with Robert Sr & Carolyn Rees, Catherine, Phillip, and many family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Willamette Valley Humane Society, and Friends of Felines, in Salem Oregon.

Though he is no longer with us, we will carry his love and lessons with us always, striving to live in a way that would honor him. Rest peacefully brother Bob. You are forever loved.
