Randy D. Williams

On April 8, 2020, Randy D. Williams of Salem, Oregon passed away at his home with his wife by his side, from complications after a short battle with cancer. He had just turned 52 in March.

Randy was a lifelong resident of Salem and worked as a carpet and flooring contractor for most of his career. Since 2014, Randy hired on at Willamette University and held the position of a Maintenance II worker. He was extremely proud to be a BearCat and enjoyed encouraging the students and helping the campus run smoothly.

He was loved by everyone who crossed his path. Randy was well known for his strong work ethics, his willingness to help others and had a profound positive presence in the community. He had a generous heart and kind soul. Randy's adventurous spirit, and zest for life was only surpassed by his infectious smile and love for his wife and kids. He was the first one you call when you needed help and he would always lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his wife Amber Williams, daughter Taylor Williams and son Dru Williams, three stepkids Kara Stutheit, Ryan Heagerty and Logan Heagerty, His Mother Janice Williams, brother Dowdy Williams and sister Lisa Williams.

Preceding him in death was his father William DS Williams, sister Lawna Cervantes and daughter Kassie Williams.

Randy will live on in the inspiration he left with us and the kindness he shared. May Randy's memory be a blessing by all who knew and loved him.
