Randall Dee “Randy” Brown

Randall Dee “Randy” Brown was born July 6, 1954 in Logan, Utah and passed away on July 7, 2024 in Salem, Oregon after a long illness.  Randy was the youngest of five children of Francis S. and Loa M. Brown.  He graduated from Logan High School in 1972. He worked as a produce manager for Albertson’s then managed a Golden Coral in Riverton before being transferred to Oregon where he raised his five children.  Randy was an expert fisherman who loved to go crabbing and fishing and was delighted when family visited and would take them on his boat to experience his love of crabbing. He would often visit family in Utah bringing crab and salmon for family and friends to enjoy.  Randy would also be found fishing with friends and family.

Randy is survived by his children DeNae (Rodd) Buttars, Teresa Crossley, Jared Brown, and Amanda-Lyn Brown.  He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Peggy Berry, 3 brothers Robert (Jone) Brown, David (Kathy) Brown, Dennis (Yvonne) Brown, one uncle, 3 aunts, and numerous nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda of nearly 21 years, daughter Dixie, his parents, brother-in-law Doug Berry, nephew Dustin Brown and grand nephew Ian Brown.
