Pamella Louise Seeder

July 24, 1943 — March 8, 2023

Pam was born in Wichita Falls, Texas to Dorothy and Joseph Gaffney.  The family moved to Portland, Oregon.  Pam was the eldest of five that included two brothers and two sisters.  She attended Holy Redeemer elementary school and graduated from St. Mary’s Academy.

She was married to Gary Seeder for 47 years.

Pam had several jobs in her lifetime.  She was a waitress, homemaker, house cleaner, babysitter, and caregiver.  She volunteered at church and non-profits.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, and ceramics.  For many years at Christmas, she made fruitcakes for family and friends.

Pam was an avid reader and enjoyed murder mysteries.   She loved to vacation at the Oregon Coast.

Nothing gave her greater joy than spending time with her grandchildren.

She will truly be missed, but not forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Dorothy; husband, Gary; and brother, Joe.  She is survived by her sons David, Gary, Robert, Michael; sisters Cheryl, Mary; brother Jim; grandchildren Dustin, Sophia, Anna.

There will be a celebration of life and reception at 10 am March 20, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church 515 SW Maplecrest Dr. Portland, OR 97219.  The burial will be at 1:30 pm at Willamette National Cemetery 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd. Happy Valley, OR 97086.
