Lorinda Lee Macomber

Lorinda Macomber, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away suddenly on Saturday Oct. 21st, 2017 at home at the age of 61.

She was born in Salem Oregon and lived here all of her life. Lorinda worked for over 30 years at the Oregon School for the Blind and then at OHA for an additional 7 years until her retirement. She was enjoying spending time with her family and friends. She excitedly worked on her “bucket list” which included publishing a cookbook that she accomplished this year. In addition she tackled a multitude of home improvement projects to update her home.

Lorinda is survived by her children; Stacy Macomber and Jeff Macomber. Her grandchildren; Alyssa, Jeffery, Shayla, Dylan, and Sophie. Two sisters; Char Rowe and Sandy Gilstrap. Two brothers; Allan Sunberg and Don Payne. She is also survived by her many friends who will miss her dearly. Lorinda left a big impact on many people with her thoughtful ways and caring heart.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, Oct 31st at 11:00 am at Lee Mission Cemetery locates on D St.
