Kevin Lee Myers

Kevin Lee Myers known to friends as “Bubba” and “Papa Myers” passed away on May 6, 2021 at the age of 66.

A native Oregonian, Kevin graduated from Newport High School in 1972, then went on to play football for Treasure Valley Community College and Portland State University. He enlisted in the US Army in 1975, where he served as an MP and EOD. After his military discharge, he entered into his lifelong career in law enforcement where he retired from the Oregon State Police in 2006. After retirement he worked part time for the OSP training division.

Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Rosemary and four children Melissa Nunnenkamp, Rosanne Traxler, Aric Myers and Scott Myers along with his siblings Richard Myers, Karlin Myers, and Koreen Greenberg. Kevin was a proud Papa of 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Willamette Valley Baptist Church, located at 650 1st St, Aumsville, OR on May 18 at 10:30 AM followed by military honors ceremony at Willamette National Cemetery located at 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Happy Valley, OR at 1:30 PM.
