Jack Dorman Owen

Jack Dorman Owen, born June 26,1939 in Hugo, Oklahoma passed away peacefully Jan 11, 2025 at home in Salem, Oregon. He survived by his wife Ethel of 53 years, 4 children, Clint of Lynwood WA, Lisa of Ketchikan, AK, Christopher of Salem, OR and Corinna of Cove, OR. He had 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack worked in the lumber industry for 30 years, then for Hap Taylor & Sons and Knife River for 10 years. He retired at 68. He lived in Redmond from a small child to end of 2023. He and Ethel moved in with their son Chris in Salem and were residing there until his passing.

Jack enjoyed hunting, mechanics and fixing things, and spending time with his grandchildren. He always would lend a hand to his friends and family to fix things and repair their vehicles. He and Ethel attended the Free Methodist Church now known as Mountain View Fellowship in Redmond while married for 53 years.

A memorial service will held at Mountain View Fellowship in Redmond Jan 24th 2025. Family graveside service will be prior.
