H. Ann Puerling Schisler went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017.
Some months ago, Ann felt that she should move from her assisted living apartment at Camelot in Hemet, to be near her son, Tim Puerling. Tim found her a lovely apartment at Emeral Pointe, assisted living in Salem, Oregon. They spent one month enjoying each other's company as Tim would come every day after work and visit with her. but Ann had a stroke that left her small body damaged adn unable to recuperate. After several days in teh hospital we found a lovely place where she was carefully and lovingly cared for by nurse who put on soft Christian music, where Tim came to visit often adn read Psalms to her and where she quietly slipped away to be with Jesus.
The Puerling grandchildren were able to visit her in those days in teh hospital. My husband Eduardo adn I, Jack Schsler's daughter, Cathy, are grateful we were able to visit with her in the hospital and read Psalms to her and sing with her when she was still responding a bit. The entier Schisler Family deeply appreciates the life of our dear Ann, faithful helper and companion of many years of our late father, Jack Schisler.
We will miss her!
