Forrest Blubaugh

March 9, 1932 — April 20, 2017

Forrest Lee Blubaugh was born on March 9,1932 in Roy, New Mexico to Francis Emmett Blubaugh and Vietta Gladys Franklin. He is preceded by their passing and the passing of his son Brian and of his wife Elizabeth Savok; whom he met in Nome, Alaska. Their 56 years of marriage took them to their favorite adventures on the ocean, and in the woods and deserts of Alaska and Arizona as snow birds.

Forrest served in the US Airforce from 1952 to 1956 as an airplane mechanic.  He received the Defense Service and Good Conduct Medals.

Forrest leaves behind his daughter Cheryl and her husband Jeff Brandal and grand daughters Sarah, Christina, Mary, Tanya ,and Heather and his great grandson Sean. Also his son Robert and his wife Vivian and grand daughter Robin.  Forrest grew up on the Blubaugh farm on South Hill Puyallup, Washington.

His ashes will be interred at the Veterans Cemetery in Roseburg, Oregon where his Uncle Lester Franklin is laid to rest.
