Eula Faye Weaver

Eula Faye Weaver, passed away in Keizer, OR on November 24, 2017 surrounded by her family.

Faye was born in Crocket, Texas on November 3, 1937. She graduated from Casa Grande Union High in 1956 and married Franklin Delano Weaver the same year in Casa Grande, Arizona. They eventually separated but remained close friends over the years. Faye relocated from Arizona to Los Angeles, California, where she went on to earn an Associate’s degree in Business Management from La Salle Business College. She lived in Los Angeles, CA for many years where she worked in the banking and apparel industries before relocating to Keizer, Oregon. She retired from the Oregon Department of Justice and then launched Planters Plus, LLC., a custom manufacturer and distributor of plant containers.

To Faye, family was everything! She was a devoted mother to her five children and her maternal influence touched and influenced the lives of many. She was a proud grandmother who truly adored her grand and great grandchildren. Faye’s work ethic and determination were exemplary. She excelled at accomplishing her life goals and encouraged and guided others in their endeavors. She was a fantastic cook, avid gardener, and political junkie with a charitable heart who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Faye is preceded in death by her father, William Arthur Johnson, mother, Ora Dean Johnson, and brothers Ray Johnson, Ocie Lee Johnson, and Lloyd Arthur Johnson and her grandson Terrence William Johnson.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Pamela Dean Weaver, Sherri Lynn Weaver, Michael Franklin Weaver, Franklin Delano Weaver Jr., and Robin Denise Weaver-Wilson; her grandchildren Cheri Nichole Smith, Bryson Wilson, McKenzi Faye Riddell, Myesha Weaver, Pamela Weaver, Michael Weaver Jr., Michelle Weaver, Michaela Weaver, Devon Weaver, Julian Weaver, Brandon Weaver, and Marcel Weaver; her brothers Bob Johnson, Joe Johnson, Melvis Johnson, Rick Johnson, and Larry Johnson; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

The viewing will be held at Johnson Funeral Home,134 Missouri Ave., Salem, Oregon 97302 on Friday, December 1, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the public, and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for family.

The Celebration of Life will be held at Seed of Faith International at 1230 Winter St. N Salem, OR. 97301 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Wade Harris officiating. The burial will follow at Belcrest Memorial Park, 1295 Browning Ave S. Salem, OR, 97302.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Free Church of God in Christ In Jesus Name, Inc., 6275 Lakeside Dr. NE, Salem, OR 97305.
