Edgar Flores

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our brother Edgar Manuel Flores.

In the evening of Friday June 28th while on a walk with his beloved dog Zeus, our dear brother and family pet were struck by a pick-up truck in NE Salem.

Edgar succumbed to his injuries at 12:23am Saturday June 29th, and his life tragically taken from us. His dog Zeus was badly injured.

Edgar passed away in Salem Oregon at the age of 29. Survived by his precious children, Sophia 10, Alejandro 6, and Leo Manuel 9 months old. His partner Ceiry will continue to keep Edgar’s memory alive through them.

Born in 1995 to his loving parents Manuel & Justina Flores. He was the middle of 3 children. His sisters Alma and Deysi remember fondly the childhood they shared together and will continue to support their parents as they navigate life without their only son.

Edgar enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing and camping, but above all he enjoyed spending time with his children and nieces. Edgar was meant to be a father and took pride in the family he created.

Edgar is described as a whole-hearted man. With a unique ability to make anyone feel like family. Edgar was laid to rest at the Lee Mission Cemetery on July 6th 2024.
