Danny James “Uncle Dee” Durham, 53, of Salem, died Monday, September 14, 2020 at home.
Danny was born October 3, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri to James and Brinda (Jennings) Durham. He was raised in Yakima, Washington and spent a couple years as a teenager living on his uncle’s farm in Oklahoma. As an adult, he moved to Western Washington, and resided for many years in Tacoma while raising his family.
Danny was well known for his sense of humor, and would have everyone laughing no matter the occasion. He enjoyed playing music, drawing, and collecting knives, watches and other items.
He is survived by his mother, Brinda Wood of Vancouver, WA; three sons, Derek Durham of Tacoma, WA, Bryant Rach of Federal Way, WA, and Trent Bacon of Maple Valley, WA; one daughter, Dani Durham of Federal Way, WA; a sister, Angela Lara of Salem, OR; two nephews, Daniel Wood of Vancouver, WA and Cameron Lara of Chicago, IL; and many cousins from both sides of his family. He was preceded in death by his father, James Durham, and his sister, Shamaria Durham.
