Charles Albert Stalnaker

On October 16, 2023, Charles (Chuck) Stalnaker, age 78 left this world to be with his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

Chuck was born in Bridgeport Indiana on April 16, 1945, to Forrest and Pearlie Stalnaker. He grew up in Indianapolis until he joined the Navy at age 17.  He served in Vietnam and spent 21 years serving his country before retiring from the Navy in 1984 and settling in Salem Oregon. After receiving an associate degree in Electronics Engineering, Chuck founded Ram Technical Services where he serviced equipment in the silicon wafer manufacturing industry and gained the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.

Beyond his professional life, Chuck loved his family, his church family, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He especially enjoyed teaching kids to fish and appreciate the outdoors.  Another passion was raising Labrador retrievers delighting many families with well-bred dogs.  He continued to live a full life maintaining his witty sense of humor even with the limitations of heart disease and cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, son Kristopher Stalnaker (wife Keri), daughter Vikki Young (husband Richard), 4 grandchildren, Jacob Young, Anna Young, Owen Stalnaker, Sam Stalnaker, and brother Roger Stalnaker.
