  7. Ericka Lytle says:

My father has been a long time friend of the Klampe family. From helping Maurice work on cars and racing with Richard to poor Angie babysitting my siblings and I. As a kid I was always welcome with open arms and a cup of coffee from Violet. It was a horrible loss with the passing of Maurice. He was like a second dad to me. But Violet was the backbone of the family. Always the strength when times got rough. She was one woman you never wanted to disappoint but if you did she loved you anyway. This amazing woman taught me a lot when I was young. I thank you Violet, and the Klampe family, for being a part of my life journey. My heart is breaking for you all.
