I’ve known Tina since elementary school days. I remember sleeping over her house and her mom was always outside in her garden. Anita and Renata were upstairs and we would try to hang out in their rooms because they were the cool older sisters. Her parents were the so sweet , welcoming , and truly kind , which is no wonder why Tina turned out to be such a genuine person. We lost touch during middle school and then reconnected in our late teen years , of course by hanging out with LIC people. A few years later sadly again we lost touch but somehow we found one another again . We spoke all about our girls often, our pride and joys ! my youngest was in all star cheerleading ,and next thing you know she had a cheerleader of her own now we had another thing in common . We could sympathize with each other over being cheer moms it’s so sad that THE MOST GENUINE soul is no longer here in the physical with us . I am definitely regretting not taking the trip out to Oregon when Tina extended the invite. I will always think of you and I hope that I get to meet your girls one day . My prayers and thoughts are with every single person in her family - may god watch over you and give you the strength during this time.

I had the pleasure of knowing the entire Stare family. Vinko and Dragica were always welcoming, kind and light hearted to us all. As children we all got to hang out while our parents did their own thing. Tina was also so inviting, so kind, funny and light hearted. I will cherish our sleep overs and childhood memories. While we drifted as we grew older, we still kept in touch and she was always full of encouragement whenever I talked to her. Watching her become a mom to her beautiful daughters made me so happy for her. Tina had a ray of light around her- one I can see in her beautiful girls. I know she will be watching over them and guiding them from above. I wish you all strength and courage to get through this difficult time. Tina will be missed but it’s up to you to keep her memory alive. Stay strong my deepest condolences to you all. Rest in peace beautiful soul

Tina and I knew each other for nearly our whole lives. She lived on 45th Ave across from my best friend Elvis and I lived on 45th road. We always stayed fairly close throughout the years and always had that LIC bond.

This news is devastating. We all thought she would pull through with the amount of fight and positive spirit she had within her. She was and amazing friend whom was always there for you if you needed and you can see any one else who knew her would say the same.

Truly saddened by this news, I wish Frankie and the girls peace and comfort not only during this time, as most people say, but that that piece and comfort remains with you, knowing she is no longer fighting and uncomfortable.

Thoughts and prayers going out to you all.

I met Tina through pinnacle realty where I used to work for 12 years. Her and her mother. They used to do the cleaning. Used to have her mothers Christmas cookies. She used to take the time to make me some. She was amazing. Then I met her daughter once Dragica couldn’t come into clean anymore. Tina used to come in with her girls and we used to buy Girl Scout cookies and then we stayed in touch through Instagram. I always realized how much of a dedicated beautiful mom she is and always with her girls attending events and walking around Long Island city. Going to the park a lot. She is truly amazing. An amazing and unforgettable beautiful human being. This is so tragic and my heart breaks. I will miss you so much Tina. May God and the angels take care of you in heaven.

I met Tina at QLS in Queens. She was always kind, fun, and patient while she taught me to do a cartwheel and round off. When I taught my daughter how to do it two years ago, I thought fondly of her. She also inspired me to move my body again after years of not working out. She will be so missed but I’m glad she has peace. Love you Tina.
