Obituary

Shari Francess Butler, age 74, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2020, with her daughter by her side. Shari was born on February 1, 1946 in Fitzsimons, Colorado.

Shari spent most of her younger life in Southern California, where she married and started her family. In 1972 Shari and her family went on to move to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she spent the majority of her adult life, until moving to Oregon in 2019, to live with her daughter and son in law.

Shari is remembered for being extremely sassy, feisty, funny, giving and loving to her family, close friends, and dogs. Shari enjoyed puzzles, shopping, sweets, and painting everything red and blue. Most of all Shari enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family.

Shari was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Osborne, mother, Francess Osborne, sisters, Valerie Osborne and Geralyn Compositor and her son, Johnny Butler.

Shari is survived by her brother, Michael (Martha) Osborne of Las Vegas, NV, her children, Ronald (Michelle) Butler of Las Vegas, NV, Vicki (Thomas) Jackson of Lincoln City, OR, and six grandchildren, Kayliana (Thomas) Wade of Corvallis, OR, Branden (Nicole) Brown of Albany, OR, Chelsea Brown of Albany, OR, Tiffany (Christopher) Miller of Las Vegas, NV, Kristin Butler of Las Vegas, NV, Brayden Butler of Las Vegas, NV, and great grandson Adam Wade of Corvallis, OR.

Shari did not want a traditional funeral. Instead she wanted her family to come together for a private Celebration of Life dinner and remembrance.
