Richard Omer Bass passed away peacefully after a bout with cancer on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Richard was born in Racine WI on November 18, 1946.  He was preceded in death by his father Nelson Omer Bass, New Port Ritchie FL; his mother Ruth Evelyn (Fynn) Bass, Racine WI; his brother Timothy Bass, Racine WI.  Richard has four surviving siblings; sister Kay (Bass) D’Acquisto, Poway CA; sister Barbara (Bass) Kasper, Eden Prairie MN; brother Tom and sister-in-law Judy (Harris) Bass, Salem OR; and brother John Bass, Racine WI.

Many of his garden club members cared for Richard’s yard and visited with him during his illness.  The family thanks all of you for your support for Richard during this period.

The family would also like to give special recognition to Hospice Care of the Northwest for their incredible care and comfort they provided for Richard in his last days.
