Obituary

Randy Nolan Boyd, 62, passed away at his home on October 9th, 2016 after a long illness. He was surrounded by his loved ones.

Randy was born in San Bernardino, California to Robert and Pearl Boyd. He was the brother of Wayne, Wes, Don and Anita.

Randy had a life well-lived. During his younger years he honorably served in the US Army, and was a police officer in Washington State. After many successful years in the travel and meeting planning business, Randy found a family with Pentacle Theatre in Salem, Oregon and became its Executive Director in 2008.

Randy will be remembered for his bright smile and eagerness to help solve any challenge placed before him.

Randy is survived by his wife and best friend Cathy; his loving daughters Rachael, Emi and Jessica; his admiring granddaughter, Hannah; and his son, Robby.

Randy's Celebration of Life will be officiated by Randy's uncle, Cecil Durham, at Johnson Funeral Home in Salem on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at 4 p.m.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Pentacle Theatre in Randy's name.

    It was a pleasure to get to know you and it turning into a brother like relationship. I am glad I was able to see the weekend before your passing and sorry that I missed coming back the next weekend to carry out your wishes! I know you are looking down and saying some smarty pants remark and laughing, because that is who you are! God bless you my friend and I will see you on the other side!
