Obituary

Linda Bergstrom, 71, of Salem (Oregon), went to be with Jesus Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at Salem Hospital. Linda was an Oregon native through and through, born in Lebanon, Oregon on September 24th, 1949 to Emil and Bernice Bergstrom. For many of us the world in which we live in will never be the same without Linda in it.

Linda worked hard as a laundry aid in a local care facility for 25 years.  Linda was an avid music lover, having her own bands for many years.  She played the guitar and sang as lead vocalist.  Growing up she enjoyed running, camping, and especially playing guitar with her best friend Craig Bateman.

Her hobbies also included: drawing, coloring, painting, cooking and barbecuing with her close friends.  For relaxation, Linda enjoyed watching movies at home.

Linda is survived by the love of her life of 40 years, along with her brother Dennis Bergstrom.

Linda was loved by all who knew her.  Linda will be greatly missed.

A private memorial service was held at 1:00 PM Friday May 7,th at the Jefferson Pioneer cemetery, in Jefferson Oregon.  Eulogy was given by Reverend Dan Bergstrom.

I've been searching for answers to who my family is since I have no relationship with my dad Ron Bergstrom. I'm saddened to find Aunt Linda has passed. My memories of cooking with Grandma in LaPine and logging with grandpa. Say hello to grandma I know she's watching. I'm planning a visit to the gravesite now that I know where they are. Please call for anything

I've been searching for answers to my family past and pulled this page up. I never got to know my Aunt Linda or any of my Bergstrom family because of not having a relationship with my dad Ron. I don't even know if he's alive. I do know that my child memories are of gardening/ cooking with Grandma in LaPine and cutting lumber with dad and Grandpa Emil. I only have the fondest of memories. Say hello to grandma for me. I will be visiting the grave site now I know where both of them are. If any other family would like to know me. 503-995-7735.

This breaks my heart because Linda was my aunt and I'm so heartbroken to find her and have it be an obit she was a fantastic musician I spent half my life listening to her sing and play and Denny drum Daniel on keyboards she even cut a 45 before she used to take me for rides on her motorcycle. I loved those days and I lost track of her and I don't know how she was the best aunt and the most intelligent she had an answer for everything I asked . I love her forever and always and grandma got an angel .....sandy capps 541-606-6057
