In the early morning on Sunday, March 21, 2021 the Lord opened his loving arms and called Keri home. Keri passed away while in surgery for respiratory complications.
Keri Amber Pearson (38) was born February 10th, 1983, to Steve and Debbie Sellers. The young family was excited to welcome the fourth of five children. The first years of her life were spent in sunny and warm Southern California, always full of life.
While in California, Keri was surrounded with her loving Bustamante grandparents and cousins. Later, in 1991, Keri and her family moved to Oregon. There she enjoyed the company of her Sellers' family cousins. Keri shared many adventures and memories with her family and friends that will last forever.
In 2002, Keri met Steven Pearson, the love of her life, in Park City, Utah. They fell in love and decided to start a life together and were married June 21st, 2003. They had 4 wonderful children; Blaise, Brogan, Beau, and Sophie. Steven and Keri also opened their hearts and home to a young foster daughter, Bella for a couple years and loved her as their own. The love they shared as a family positively influenced the people around them. Those bonds are still strong to this day.
Keri brought life and joy to all she came in contact with. She loved baking and everything she made was as delicious as it was beautiful. She had a fearless love for DIY projects, and her home is a great expression of her many talents. She enjoyed many adventures with Steven, friends, and family. Some of those memories include boating, camping, snowboarding, riding dirtbikes, and much more. She served in many capacities in her church, but her most recent calling she fulfilled was as a compassionate service leader, which fit perfectly with her giving spirit.
Keri is survived by her husband Steven Pearson, her children Blaise (17), Brogan (15), Beau (12), and Sophie (9). Her parents Steve and Debbie Sellers. Her siblings Dustin (Deon) Sellers, Kyle (Elena) Sellers, Gina (Nick) Fredinburg, and James (Dezi) Sellers. Her mother in law Mary (Bob) Pearson-Hill, and Steven’s siblings Jeremy (Vasty) Pearson and Annie (Jim) McCoy.
Keri touched many lives and she reached out in moments of need. We have all been lifted up in her brilliant light, and she was truly beautiful; inside and out. As she ministered to us during her life on earth, she will continue to be that loving angel that will help us in our struggles. Our love for Keri will burn bright forever, as we continue to feel her inspiring smile in our hearts.

Keri was so kind and sweet with a smile every time you came in contact with her. I met her through church and loved all my conversations with her. Our boys were friends and when we wound up in different wards it was amazing every time I would get the opportunity to run into her when running errands.
My heart felt sympathies are with her entire family at this time. She will be dearly missed here on earth but am grateful to know she will be reunited with her family and friends due to the plan of salvation. I’m also grateful to know she’ll be a guardian Angel for all who knew and loved her.
I met Keri through Charissa And Seth Franklin. It was amazing to see these two families come together just as if they were blood family. They were each other’s humans and I just loved that. She opened her door, welcomed me and anytime I showed up she made me feel like I was famous. She would continually give me shout outs and just so happy to see me. Having 5 children of my own, they were very much like Tiffy sightings. With just returning from deployment, I’m just so thankful I got that hug in. Keri was one of the most amazing, beautiful humans I have ever met. My life will forever be changed from the time we spent together. My heart is heavy, words have become smaller but I am just a phone call away and can be there. Please know that Steven for you and the kids, as well as Charissa and Seth. You are and will always be part of my extended family.

My fondest memories of Keri go back to the days that I was privileged to work with her in the Seminary program of the Salem Stake when she was a youth. I will always remember her glowing smile, energy, and enthusiasm in everything she did. She had a special compassion for her fellow classmates, especially those that had lost their way. In recent years she would always smile back at me when I was counting people in Sacrament Meeting. Yes, she was and is beautiful inside and out. I don’t know what it’s like to lose a mate or a child in this life and hope I never have to find out. But I do know that our familial relationships are eternal, that we will be together again thanks to a loving Heavenly Father.
So sorry for your loss may you rest in peace, we know you are look over your family from heaven.
I am so grateful to have known Keri, even just the little bit that I did. I'm grateful to have seen and felt of her generous and charitable heart and will do what I can to live with the compassion that she shared. Much love to her family. She will be deeply missed.
Keri was such a bright light in this world. I will miss her warm smile. As I read this I remembered the beautiful cupcakes she made for my daughters wedding. I have never had more delicious or gorgeous cupcakes since. I loved to visit her home and she often showed me her new projects. I was always in awe of her talents and a bit envious because I wished to have that knack of decorating and DIY. And to top it off she was radiant inside and out and was an incredibly fun mom and wife. May their hearts always know she is their guardian Angel. So sorry for your loss.
