Obituary

Josue Aaron Vargas was born on August 8, 1998 in El Monte, California. He grew up in Southern California
in cities including El Monte, West Covina, Hemet, and San Jacinto before moving to the Pacific Northwest
in 2012. He lived in Salem, Oregon for the balance of his life and graduated from McKay High School,
where he played football for the Royal Scots. His jersey number was #8 for his birth date and he had the
most enjoyable senior year. He was no longer the new kid on the block and had fun spending time with
his teammates and friends, who called him Josuesito out of endearment. He worked as a Wildland
Firefighter and for Amazon for a period of time. He loved any job that was outdoors as he felt at one with
nature.
Aaron was a very quiet, loving, and compassionate human incapable of hurting a fly. To say he was
dedicated to health and fitness would be an understatement. He was focused on being lean and he loved
working out at the gym. He loved movies and popcorn; joking around with his family; and was passionate
about music and making beats.
With seven siblings, he was the fifth oldest – two older sisters in Cali; youngest of three boys; and older
brother to two beautiful sisters. Of the seven siblings, he was arguably the most docile, respectful, and
humble of the bunch. His family remembers him as being a great kid who loved sports and playing video
games, especially Call of Duty.
On May 10, 2021, Aaron passed into eternity to rest in peace with the Lord and reunite with his unborn
nieces and nephews, and maternal grandmother and uncle. He is survived by his loving mother and
father – Alma and Rafael Vargas, and six siblings – Rachel, Michelle, Rafael, Daniel, Sofia, and Sarah.

Obituario
y le encantaba hacer ejercicio en el gimnasio. Le encantaban las películas y las palomitas de maíz;
videojuegos, especialmente Call of Duty.
madre y padre - Alma y Rafael Vargas, y seis hermanos y hermanas - Rachel, Michelle, Rafael, Daniel,
Sofia y Sarah.
