Obituary

Passed away October 29th 2020 preceded by mother Barbara L. Jackson, father & brother James B. Claunts.

His hobbies include golfing, fishing, camping, watching football & telling lame jokes. He was everybody's friend, Joe could make you smile even on your worst day & has influenced so many lives.

He is survived by his sisters Rhonda Long, Lisa Lopez & Lori Klassen. Daughter Tasha Pitts & Jackie Raymond. Grandchildren Corey, Jordan & Brayden. Cousin Destiny Anderson. Foster sister Sandy Marie Rose. Nephew's Mark Klassen Jr., Jon Klassen, Jessica Lopez, Ben Woods & Daniel Woods. Foster parents Claude & Gloria Carpenter.

We want to thank Tracy Belle, Terry Daugherty, Heather Daughtery, Christy Shones, SierraLynn Smith, Kimberlee Jones Morrison, Amy Omdahl & so many others for your love & support.

He will be missed but NEVER forgotten. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation.

    I met Joe in 2019 at Betty Ford ,He was so caring and Friendly's to me and everyone ,I will always remember when he was out and I went back and he was there fore me always ,One thing he did he taught me how to bowl and 5 of us went I said I keep score ,His comment was really Sally its automatic ,that shows how long its been since I went bowling ok Frank we always had a different name everything I saw him !!! We talk on the phone I lived in AZ he called go to a meeting he would always say go to a meeting promise me u go ,It saddened me so to here of his passing an I never forget him and his great smile ,Your in my ❤ always and I wish u were here ,may u rest in peace my friend ,love ya my Dear friend Joe,

    I will miss you and the great times we shared. I know things were a little rough at times but we always seemed to make them a little bit better with laughter.
