Obituary

My love, Joanie Marie, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 7th, 2023

Joan took on her last of over a dozen surgeries in June. The knee joint
replacement proved to be too big of a challenge for a tired body.

Joan had a passion for living life to the fullest. From scuba diving to snow
skiing she was not afraid to push herself to the limits. Her desire to experience

all that life offered was a pleasure to witness and share for almost 50 years.

Joan's later years were plagued by disabling arthritis that made simple things
challenging if not impossible. Even then she kept fighting.

Joan’s greatest accomplishment was creating life by bringing two beautiful
girls into the world. Shannon and Ashley were her pride and joy. Now they
are mothers creating new lives. I tell them constantly; “I will love your
mother forever because she gave me you”.

Shannon and Ashley request that in lieu of flowers please spend a day with your family.

Joanie Marie, I miss you and I will love you forever.
