Obituary

Douglas Zivney Sr. of Turner, 68 passed away surrounded by family on Friday June 12th from a long battle with cancer,. He was born in Lake Oswego, Oregon on April, 07, 1952. Don was a kind man that loved his family, animals and gardening. His passion for woodworking made him a talented cabinet maker. Don also built custom homes and enjoyed his trucking company Empire N.W., Zivney Flooring, and in rescue with Precious Paws Poppies. All animals loved him. In 1997 Don became permanently disabled and unable to drive only to be blessed to raise his 3 of his grandchildren. He always felt that God kept him here to care for his family. Don loved his grape plants and his new interest included growing lilies with his wife.

Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pamela Zivney, his children Donny Zivney, Lisa Zivney, Joelle Jasikiewicz, Jamie Zivney. Also his precious grandchildren, Leah Zivney, Jason Zivney, Julia Zivney, Killian Zivney, Hunter Zivney, Zachary Zivney, McKennley Zivney, Molly Lawson and Melanie Jasikiewicz. Dons siblings are Jeanne Meyers, David Zivney, Debbie Gannon and Kimberly Eriksen.

Dons Faith helped him through and he will be forever loved and always with us. The family will hold a private interment Friday June 26th 2020 at home. We hope to have a Celebration Of Life once we are adjusted. Please check back here for information and to post memories. Remembrances can be made to your local no kill animal shelters.
