Obituary

David was born in Salem, Oregon on July 22, 1976. He was raised in several different locations throughout Salem during his younger years. Growing up David always loved the outdoors. He grew up camping and fishing, and he didn’t like to eat the fish he caught. He just loved the sport and went fishing as much as he could. He was a catch and release kind of guy.

In his early years, he was like any regular boy. Playing in mud puddles, getting into trouble, annoying his siblings, and just being a funny goofy kid. David had some great accomplishments in life. He got his GED in his early twenties, and he was a very hard worker. He always had a job of some kind. He married the love of his life, his wife Shawna in 2013 and they have 2 children together, Taylir (8 years old) and David Jr. (4 years old). He also has an older son Matt (26 years old) and a stepson Dustin (17 years old). David was an amazing husband and father. He always took great care of his kids and was always there for them when they needed him. He was always there for any family that needed him.

David is survived by his wife Shawna, his 4 children, Matt, Dustin, Taylir, and David Jr. Also, by his parents: Terry Wellman, Cynthia Stanley, step mom Grace Wellman, and his mother n law Pam. He is also survived by his: sisters: Lisa, Jackie, Melissa, and his brothers, Chuck, and Jason. Plus, a grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

David will always be forever in our hearts and he will always be remembered for his kooky smile and his big warm hugs. Your family will love and miss you always.
