I will miss Gene laugh and the time he spent with me. Gene took me in and treated me like one of his own kids. I will never forget Gene taking me though the Columbia Gorge and two Multnomah Falls. Last time we went to Multnomah Falls we stop at Shirley's Tippy Canoe Restaurant and bar where Gene had his first Kiss. Gene and Lois had their first date. The day was so Magical. I will never forget the day. I will miss Gene rest in peace we all love you.

I use to love spending time with Grandpa. Making homemade ice cream and reading with him. I love you grandpa. I will keep passing on the monster at the end of the book to all the new kiddos
RIP dad. Love you and I miss you, and always will. Thank you so much for your open heart, your wisdom, and for raising me.
Gene was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. I will always remember his infectious laugh, which was a delight to see as well as hear. His whole body would tremble with joy and his face would light up with amusement. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his children, brothers, and other family members.
Thank you for trusting Johnson Funeral Home with his arrangements.
