Obituary

Charles Gordon Lambert was born Aug. 6, 1946 to Harry Francis Lambert and Virginia (Spohn) Lambert. Chuck left us on Nov. 16, 2019 in the early hours of the morning to be with our Lord and re-visit friends and family waiting for him in heaven. Chuck was preceded in death by both his father and mother as well as his first wife Vickie who died Dec. 18, 2013.

Chuck graduated from South Salem High School in 1964, and went on to work for K-Mart as a department manager in Oregon and California. After 10 years with Kmart he went back to school receiving his automotive technology degree from Mount Hood Community College and then he went to work for Thomason Ford where he received his master’s mechanic certification. After 20 years with Thomason he made a change to Canby Ford where he retired in 2015.

Chuck had the honor of being a lifetime member of the Sherwood “Robinhood” Elks Lodge from 1978 until present. He was a two times Exalted Ruler, Oregon State Elks Association trustee in 2005, Oregon State Chairman of the Board in 2010 and through the years held various and many offices within his lodge.

Chuck loved Sports; watching, listening, commentating, but most of all playing them. He was especially fond of golf and bowling. As an avid bowler he bowled on as many as three leagues a week. As a member of the Portland Bowling Association he served on the Board of Directors and held the office of President in 2010. His other sport was golf. He played in many tournaments though his Elks Lodge including the North Central elks Eye Clinic Fundraiser. Chuck was able to golf at many courses throughout the U.S. with Walt Disney World Golf Course in Orlando, Florida being his favorite.

Chuck met Sharen (Kisselman) Lambert in early 2014 and they immediately bonded over their love of travel and rock hounding. They purchased a spanking new travel trailer and took to the road exploring Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Montana, Nevada, and everywhere in between, always returning with treasures they found on their travels.

Chuck and Sharen married in July 25, 2015. Not long after they honeymooned on an Alaskan cruise with friends. Chuck gladly accepted the new role of stepdad to Sharen’s two boys Kent (Shannon) Kisselman, and Keith (Melissa) Kisselman, and grandfather of five; Henry Kisselman, Holden Kisselman, Chase (Violet) Logan, Conner Robertson, and Sophia Robertson.

In loving memory of Chuck Lambert
“My Hand misses your hand,
My eyes miss your eyes,
My heart longs for your heart,
But my memories remind me. We will meet again, Love.”
