Obituary

Anna M. Garcia, aged 46, of Salem, Oregon, passed away at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, October 26, 2021. She was born in Corvallis, Oregon, on June 3, 1975, to Andres Prado Garcia and Patricia Lynn Crosby. She also had 2 brothers, Andres John Garcia (Andy), and from her paternal side, Agustin Prado Garcia.

Anna had 4 kids, Maria (Sissy) Felipe, Andres (Martin) Felipe, Michael (Gordo) Felipe, and Teresa (Chacha) Ibarra. She was always a warm-hearted mother and a warrior who always did everything for her kids. Of course, she had the help of her family and always kept her brother Andy close. Anna had faced lots of immersive roadblocks in her journey, but she never gave up and did everything in her life for her kids. She even made a few more motherly connections to her children's friends and opened all her doors to those who wanted it from her. Anna made sure always to tell the ones she loved how much she cared for them and never missed the opportunity to show how much she was proud of every one of them.

In February 2012, Anna was promoted from mother to grandmother (Nana) to her first grandson Xavier Felipe, son of Maria Felipe. Throughout this new journey, she made sure to be the best Nana she could be to Xavier. In late 2017, she was a renewed grandmother to her first granddaughter, Elanni Felipe Ortiz, daughter of Andres Felipe and Maria Ortiz. Andres and Maria gifted her a second grandson, Royce Felipe Ortiz, in 2019. She named her grandbabies as the head of the thrown in her household and said they were perfect in her eyes.

Her father (2005), mother (2015), and brother, Andy Garcia (2021), preceded her in death.

While Anna was alive, she loved to color and do crossword puzzles in her spare time. She also loved to make people laugh with the best jokes and at every opportunity she could. Her favorite card game was Uno ever since Anna was a little girl. Before her mobility issues, she liked to cook home cook meals for her friends and family. She was also determined to be the best grandmother to all her grandbabies and loved every moment she had with them.

Memorial service will be on the 20th of November 2021 from 1-3 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Keizer, Oregon. Please help us remember and keep Anna Garcia alive in our memory. May she fly high in peace with the Lord.
