Allan Albert Anderson left us on December 21,2023. He was born on September 28, 1949 and was 74 years old. Allen leaves behind his wife of 52 years Jane, a daughter Heather and son-in-law Paul Wakin and four grandchildren. Isaiah, Amerah, Aleiah and Micah and his dog Porter. He loved his family very much.
Allan grew up in Tigard, Oregon, graduated high school in 1969 and went to Portland Community and Chemeketa Community Colleges. He was a volunteer fire fighter and an EMT for Aumsville and Marion County. He worked as a maintenance carpenter for Salem Keizer School District for 25 years.
He was a man of many talents. He could build and fix so many things. In2011 and 2012 he rode his bike across the country. The first summer he made it North Dakota and the weather was bad. He came home and then in 2012 finished the trip ending in Maine. He loved the outdoors and traveling. His faith was a big part of his life too.
He went into Hospice care in February of 2023. Willamette Vital Health was wonderful in helping me take care of him. We will miss him in our lives so much.
Bill and I have known Allan and & Jane for about 10 years. During this time we had many adventures, alot of laughs and good times. We also shared some hard and difficult times and through them all we became special friends. Allan will be greatly missed but we look forward to seeing him again. Romans8:18 I recken that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Allan was a man of many talents . He was also a great mentor to many people, I couldn't think of a a better person. you were a great friend. i am glad you are now at peace.

We have many wonderful memories of time shared with Allan, skiing at Hoodoo, bicycling and sharing time conversing. We're so sorry for your loss and look forward to the day when we're reunited. Prayers for peace and comfort for all of you.

A man I was proud to know and was so beneficial for bringing me along for 24 years at the maintenance shop at Salem- Keizer school district. I know He has obtained a much needed carpenter in his kingdom. Thanks Allen. Going to miss you.
Allan was such a beautiful example of faithfulness, kindness and courage. He was well loved. Our condolences to Jane, Heather, Paul and the grandkids. My God surround you with his love and comfort during this time of loss.
Allan had a great sense of humor and was always teasing me.
I’m really going to miss him and look forward to seeing him again. He ran a brave and faithful race.
Jane & Heather & Family, I have so many sweet memories of fun times we shared… all the picnics in the park and Church socials. Before that, I know my own parents considered you friends. May your own memories comfort you in this time of loss & change. He will be missed. You are all in our thoughts & prayers.
Our lives are richer because he was a part of our lives. We love and miss you, Grandpa.
