Obituary

Adrian was born April 4, 1980 in Salem, Oregon. She passed from this world on April 7, 2017.

Adrian grew up in Salem. She attended Washington Elementary School, Waldo Middle School and is a graduate of both McKay High School (Salem) and Parkrose High School (Portland).  Adrian was an avid reader and always had a book (or 3) close by.  She played the clarinet and her middle school band marched in the Junior Rose Festival Parade.

Adrian moved to Portland during her senior year and from there she launched to Seattle, then on to Tacoma, Vancouver Wa. and back to Salem. Her Career was solving problems for people and she put her skills to work mostly in the health insurance industry.  She found working for TriCare and with our military families one of the most rewarding experiences in her career.  She also was one of the initial hires for Cover Oregon, which is what eventually brought her back to Salem.

In 2008, Adrian married Shane Meece. In 2010 she gave birth to Lexander, being a mother is what she always felt she wanted in life.  Just two weeks before being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, she gave birth to Clara.

Adrian is survived by her children, Lex (6), Clara (3 months). She is also survived by her parents; Jim Carden II (Judy), Sheri Yuckert (Dale), her brother James and step-siblings, Amanda, Troy, Danielle and Darren, as well as her Grandfather Shirlie Davidson, her step-grandmother Dolly Sumpter and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
