Surrounded by her family, Vannessa Lady Ramirez, born November 27, 2002 in Salem, Oregon passed away December 11, 2017 at the age of 15 in Overland Park, Kansas.
Vannessa will be lovingly remembered by her parents Rolando Ramirez and Laurel Guerrero, brother Ricardo, sister Brianna, maternal grandparents Olga Rodriguez, Leopoldo and Margaret Guerrero, and paternal grandparents Faustino and Graciela Ramirez. She will also be remembered and greatly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Vannessa believed that her purpose in life was to make people happy. She was a very outgoing , funny, caring, and loving person always finding a way to make someone’s day. She loved art, drawing, loved animals her favorite being cats. We often referred to Vannessa as a mermaid as she loved swimming. She liked attending sporting events whether it was soccer, baseball or basketball, she also enjoyed concerts and any event that included spending time with her family and friends. You would often times find Vannessa telling jokes, laughing, dancing, singing, listening to music and even writing music of her own. Vannessa’s greatest passion was making her own beats as well as writing her own lyrics as she wanted to pursue a career as a DJ.
We ask that you join us in a Celebration of Life in Vannessa’s honor. It will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home 134 Missouri Avenue South Salem Oregon 97305.
It’s hard to forget someone who gave so much to remember.
