Obituary

Sydiria Silvia was born in Portland, Oregon on April 17, 1946. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1964. She worked as a supervisor for the Port of Portland (Portland's International Airport).

She was predeceased by her parents, Sylvia Ann Glenn and Marcus Garvey Glenn. Sydiria will be lovingly remembered by her children Myldred Marie Silvia and Sydiria Ann Reese. Her grandchildren Marcus Silvia, Marvin Silvia-Carter, Maurice Silvia-Carter, Nevaeh Rye'Ann Grant and Xavier Maurice Reese. Her brothers William Maurice Glenn, Thomas Glenn, and Robert Glenn.

I cant tell you how much I will miss you. It wasn't about talking to you every day, I only kept up through your daughter but knowing you were there meant so much to me. I am sorry I didn't see you for years but I am so grateful for you showing me love when I was young. Thank you for being a shinning example of a strong black woman. You made a difference in me even if I never told you.
