Obituary

Olive Beth Weamer peacefully passed away on Saturday afternoon, May 25, 2019 in Eugene, Oregon. She was 79 years old.

Beth was born on July 25, 1939 in Safford, Arizona to Mary (née Harris) and Claude Arnold. She was raised by her Aunt and Uncle, Edwin (Bigun) and Emma Brantley in Globe, Arizona where she proudly spent the majority of her life. She graduated from Globe High School in 1957. She married Max Lee Weamer in 1963 and they raised their children there.

Beth served the community of Globe in several capacities and retired from managing the bookstore at Globe High School in 2001. She was passionate about her family, her home, and her flower gardens. In recent years she resided in Salem, Oregon.

She is survived by her children John Weamer (wife Jo), Michelle Battistini (husband Massimo), Garrett Weamer (wife Kimberly), and Edwin Weamer, a brother Melvin Arnold of Nampa, Idaho and sister LaVerna Bryant of Hurricane, Utah. She is also survived by her grandchildren Nathan Weamer, Chelsea Park, Cameron Stinger, Randal Weamer, Maxine Weamer, and Nelson Stinger, as well as 3 great-grandchildren.

Her ashes will be interred at Globe Cemetery on July 25th following a graveside service.
