Obituary

On September 11, 2018 Lynne passed away peacefully with her husband at her side, holding her hand. She was born to John E Darling and Thelma Darling in Portland, Oregon. She was the middle of 5 children. After graduating from St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, Oregon, she went to Beauty School and became a Beautician. She met the love of her life, Al, and married him on September 23rd, 1961. After marrying Al, she became a stay at home mom, and had 4 daughters. Lorena, Arlena, Margery, and Kristina. Taking care of her family was her full-time job.

Lynne loved going crabbing with her husband Al. She always said that any month ending in “er” were great crabbing months, except for December, it was too cold. She was a beautiful piano player. Her grandkids loved to watch her play, some would even sing along. She loved when all her children and their children would get together for dinner. She truly enjoyed having those dinners and always looked forward to the next.
