Obituary

Joy Smith, survived by a daughter, Emily Smith, and two brothers, Tom Jr. and Tim Smith. Mom, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, no matter what she was to us she always left an impression--whether it be how much she loved to argue for fun, her random mispronunciation of words, the accidentally funny things she said, or the amazing amount of tea she could drink. She always left her imprint. She is now happily reunited with her parents, Mert and Tom Smith, and they are all looking down on us watching and protecting.

I don't have much to say, other than when I knew Joy for a few years, she was kind, sweet and funny. She brought us our daughter Emily and I'm proud of her.

  3. Kaycee b Smith says:

I loved sitting on the front porch on Nagel Street with her. We'd hang out for hours together while she drank tea and I played in the yard. She was hilarious and always so good to me. I know she is happy back with Grandma and Grandpa. They are all probably drinking some sweet tea together. I love you Emily. Xo
