Messages of Sympathy

  1. Duane M. Olson says:

Just came across this most beautiful pictorial biography of a most shining example of a man! That’s Jon! I may be a year late on this page but have to say how I looked up to John as an athlete, christian brother, and knew him in school and church. Jonna, my tears go out to your family, the Weeks boys are of legendary status in my book.

  2. Mike Duncan says:

I was devastated when I heard of John's passing. I went to school with him in Brookings from 2nd to 6th grade until we moved back to Astoria. I have fond memories of those years in Brookings. John was always so full of life and a pleasure to be around. My sincere condolences to Jonna and the rest of his family.

  3. Robyn MacKillop, MBA, MAT, Ph.D. says:

John was one of the first administrators I met at SK. We came in the same year and left the district the same year. He helped me create or re-write curriculum for 11 courses, a skill I use to this day. John was always ready with a great smile, a hearty laugh, a good joke and an in-depth conversation about Moto GP riders. I’m pretty sure I scored points by knowing who Ben Bostrom, Eddie Lawson, Colin Edwards II and the Hayden boys were. He was a fantastic boss and focused on the betterment of education for students. I will miss him deeply.

  4. Steven Nash Lingard says:

I am grieved with sorrow at John's passing. My hope and reflexion are with you and yours in that your faith and hope will not be staggered.
