Obituary

Gary passed away in Salem, Oregon June 8, 2017 at the age of 81. He was born November 20, 1935 in Portland, Oregon.

He grew up in Portland and attended Cleveland High School.  He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.  He worked his entire career, 40 years, at Freightliner.

He was married to Pamella Seeder for 47 years.

Gary enjoyed playing sports including:  bowling, softball, golf, tennis.  He was a huge fan of the Portland Trailblazers and the Seattle Mariners.

Gary is survived by his wife, Pam Seeder; children, Julia, David, Gary, Robert, Michael; brother, David; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Dustin, Sophia, Anna.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Lois; brother, Eldon; sister, Shirley; ex-wife, Elanor.

There will be a viewing Monday June 12 from 6 p.m.- 7p.m. at Johnson Funeral  Home 134 Missouri Ave S  Salem, OR 97302.  Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday June 13 at Willamette National Cemetery.  Please be prompt.
